3-Ton R&M Crane for an Injection Molding Plant

Coverage Without Blocking Doorways.

Crane Layout Problems?

Workers operating machinery and inspecting equipment inside a large warehouse with yellow crane and blue lift.

What We Installed

A 3-ton overhead crane system with R&M components, designed, supplied and installed by our crews. The runway has a custom cantilever at each end, extending hook coverage past the last support without putting a column in front of the doorways.

How the Project Came Together

From Challenge to Solution

See how each project came together, from the initial need and installation process to the finished result.

The Problem

Employees needed to load injection mold machine components safely and efficiently, and the crane had to reach them without blocking the building's existing doorways.

How It Went In

We designed, supplied and installed the crane, and laid the runway out so each end can cantilever past the last support, clear of the doorways.

The Result

Employees load injection mold machine components by crane, and the building's doorways stay clear.

Is the Building Fighting the Crane Layout?

Send us the bay, the doorways and the load. Cantilevers, spans and support spacing are where layouts get solved.
