Most of this goes into buildings that stay in production. Selective with push back on the movers, drive-in where cube beat pick faces, cantilever sized to the material, shelving on a mezzanine deck. We map the column grid and lay it out in AutoCAD before anyone quotes a bay, then install it with our own crews and come back annually to inspect it.

How much does pallet racking cost?
Rack type, height, beam capacity, and whether you need decking or sprinkler coordination. Drive-in and flow cost more per bay than selective and store more per square foot. We quote from a layout of your building, not a price per bay.
What rack type do I need?
Do I need a permit for pallet racking in Georgia?
Many jurisdictions require one above a threshold height, and some want stamped drawings. We identify what applies at your location during the proposal and pull the permit under our Georgia licence where one is needed.
How often should racking be inspected?
RMI recommends annual inspection by a qualified party plus your own ongoing checks. A damaged upright gets unloaded and repaired straight away, not left until the next scheduled inspection.
Can I reuse or reconfigure existing rack?

Can racking support a mezzanine?
Yes. A rack-supported mezzanine uses the upright frames as its structure, which is efficient but fixes the layout underneath. A freestanding mezzanine keeps the floor reconfigurable. We engineer either one as a single project.
