Heavy Pallets Between Two Floors.

What the 21 Series Would Do for You
Quick answer
A two-post hydraulic vertical reciprocating conveyor. The carriage runs between two guide columns and is driven by a hydraulic cylinder through roller chain, which keeps the machine mechanically simple and the maintenance light.
The two-post configuration is what makes it economical.
A four-post lift carries the load at four corners and handles far more weight. Two posts carry a smaller footprint at lower cost, and for a standard pallet moving between two levels that is usually the right trade.
When a Two-Post Machine Suits Your Load
Applications
Centered, self-supporting loads moving between two levels at moderate frequency. That covers most mezzanine traffic in a plant or a distribution center.

What You Will Want to Confirm First
FAQ
If your question isn't here, call the shop.
Can it go in without stopping the line?
Normally yes. The pit or floor work and the deck opening are the disruptive parts, and we schedule those into your downtime. Our own crews do the install.
What does a 21 Series cost installed?
Capacity, travel, stop count, gate and guarding arrangement drive it. We quote with the full scope written out, including permitting and testing, so nothing appears later.
Do you handle the permit and inspection?
Our lift installations include the permit, the inspection and the load test, so the lift is approved before it goes into use.
What happens if it breaks down?
We service what we install and hold the PFlow relationship, so parts and support come through one number.
How do I know this is the right series?
Use the tool above. If your load overhangs the platform, rolls on, or cycles hard, it will send you to the Series F or to a call rather than confirm a machine that will not suit.
Is the 21 Series the Same as a Hydraulic Platform Lift?
Yes. "Hydraulic platform lift" and "hydraulic mezzanine lift" both describe what the 21 Series is: a guided carriage raised by a hydraulic cylinder. PFlow's own designation is vertical reciprocating conveyor, because that is the classification that governs it under ASME B20.1 rather than elevator code.
Can people ride a 21 Series Lift?
No. It is material-handling equipment under ASME B20.1, not an elevator. The guarding and controls are designed to keep people off the carriage.
