Case Study: Power and Motion Industrial Sales and PFlow Industries Collaborate to Create a State-of-the-Art 3-Story Mezzanine Lift for ASOS
Background
ASOS, a leading fashion and beauty retailer specializing in e-commerce, believes in trying to improve every day. Their “never settle” attitude led them to search for an efficient and safe solution for transporting clothing pallet loads onto their multi-level mezzanine within their distribution facility in Atlanta, GA. The conventional method of using forklifts was time consuming and unsafe. To address this challenge, the London office approached Power and Motion Industrial Sales, who partnered with PFlow Industries to develop a state-of-the-art 3-story mezzanine lift.
Solution Development through Collaborative Partnership
Power and Motion Industrial Sales engaged in a series of discussions with ASOS to gain a deeper understanding of their requirements. Thorough visits to the Atlanta distribution facility were conducted to assess the existing processes, identify pain points, and determine the specific needs for a transportation solution. Power and Motion partnered with PFlow Industries, a renowned provider of vertical lifting solutions, to develop a 3-story mezzanine lift for ASOS. The collaboration aimed to create an exceptional solution that would meet ASOS' high-quality standards while providing a dependable and long-lasting lift for efficient goods movement.
Solution Design and Implementation
Based on the insights gathered from the consultations and facility visits, Power and Motion Industrial Sales, together with PFlow Industries, designed a customized mezzanine lift tailored to ASOS' unique requirements. The mezzanine lift has replaced the need for forklifts in transferring materials to the mezzanine, resulting in improved worker safety and increased operational efficiency.
