Ergonomic Cranes System for Vehicle Assembly
Power and Motion located near Atlanta Georgia was recently hired to design, sell, and install a Gorbel ergonomic crane system that will be used for manufacturing motor vehicles.
The Gorbel crane system we installed was designed to follow the path of the customer assembly line conveyor from start to finish.
Each stage of the production line is set up to add additional parts to the vehicle until a finished product is complete and ready for the road.
The project started with a meeting between the customer and the Power And Motion sales team. The next step involved Power and Motion generating detailed approval drawings of the crane system. These drawings were incorporated into the customer’s facility drawing, enabling the customer to see how our crane system and their existing machinery and conveyors would work together. We provided a detailed written proposal once the ergonomic crane system was designed to the customer’s satisfaction. The cranes then went into production, and were complete and ready to ship in less than two working weeks after the approval drawing was signed by the customer.
Our work station cranes arrived on site, were unloaded by our mechanical installation crew, and installed in less than 5 days.
